Every time the telephone company splits an area code, phone numbers in your AS/400's data base could change. If your company depends on the validity of these phone numbers to reach customers, vendors, or feed an automated fax system, you need DB/Mend 2001™.
With DB/Mend 2001™ , you download and install the software, subscribe to the Area Code Split Exchange Diskette directly with Telcordia Traffic Routing Administration*, and tell DB/Mend 2001™ the files and fields on your system which need to be updated.
DB/Mend 2001™ uses the ACSED data to find and update phone numbers effected by area code splits. DB/Mend 2001™ can be run in edit mode, producing a report of the before and after phone numbers, without updating the data.
Specific area codes/exchanges can be targeted for update.
Area code changes for which the permissive dialing period has already ended can be processed, however, this may involve a seperate procedure. The best way to do things is to stay current by using DB/Mend 2001™.
DB/Mend 2001™ is a petite 6 Megabytes (RISC version) when fully loaded on your AS/400. It is compressed to less than 2 Megabytes (RISC) for download from our FTP site. You can download a free demonstration version and get a feel for how it works with no obligation to purchase.
If you would rather receive DB/Mend 2001™ on tape or diskette media, contact us.
License Fees: DB/Mend 2001™ 995.00 US Dollars .
