What is a Rapid Tax Refund?

A Rapid Tax Refund results in all applicable fees being automatically deducted from your refund so there is no need for you to make any type of payment. A Rapid Tax Refund is actually a loan from a bank which is also known as a "Refund Anticipation Loan" or (RAL).

Our affiliated bank, Bank One, actually gives you a loan based on your refund. As you can imagine, there is a lot of work involved in processing such a loan. However, we have made all that easy for you.

Once your return has been processed and approved by the IRS and Bank One, your refund, less all fees, will be direct deposited or mailed  the next business day.

The cost for a Rapid Tax Refund includes standard preparation fees, a bank loan fee (calculated by the bank based on the amount of your RAL), and an efile fee. (See fees for fee schedule).

Once we have completed your return, we will send it to you via fax or e-mail. Additionally, we will retain your completed returns for a period of four years in our offices.

You may elect a Rapid Tax Refund for Federal refunds. State refunds will be directly deposited or mailed approximately 2-weeks from the time the IRS accepts your return.

What is E-File?

Taxes1.com will prepare your Federal and State tax returns and transmit them to the IRS and your State Treasury Department electronically.

Once your return has been processed and approved by the IRS, your refund will be directly deposited into the checking or savings account of your choice in about 10 business days.

In addition to our regular preparation fees, electronic filing fees will be added. (See fees for fee schedule). Once we have completed your return, we will e-mail or fax it to you. We will retain your returns for a period of four years in our offices.

I already have my return prepared, can I get a Rapid Tax Refund and save preparation fees?

Yes, you can still get a Rapid Tax Refund, but you will not save any money on preparation fees. In order for us to process a Rapid Tax Refund for you, we have to re-prepare your return from scratch. You could fax us your prepared return Toll Free (1-801-761-1120), or you can enter the information from your return on to our web site, but in either case, we have to re-enter all of the data from your return in to our tax preparation software. We then check the return for errors, omissions, accuracy and appropriateness. Often, we find that returns prepared by someone else differ, once we have re-prepared them. Taxes1.com will only process a return that has been prepared by Taxes1.com. This is for your protection, and ours.
